LUSH review!

I recently went to LUSH Cosmetics (which is absolutely an unhealthy obsession for me; if I could be there every day I absolutely would) and I picked up a few things that I'd never tried before.
I'll put a link to the video I did with my roommate here: LUSH Haul with Lesley
That's most of what I have in my dorm, but I figured I'd go ahead and post some more reviews of things I tried recently!
Let's get glowing!

1) Buffy Body Butter

This body butter is absolutely AMAZING. It's a LUSH staple that I've heard people talk about dozens of times, and I don't know why I waited until now to try it!
It contains cocoa butter, shea butter, ground almonds, aduki beans, and rice. It also has some lavender oil and lemon oil, with perfume and a few other ingredients.
I tried it for the first time in the shower about an hour ago (and I bought the body butter tin that comes with it because if you leave it in the shower where water can hit it, it will melt all over the place and then it's bye bye Buffy), and I have to say I was incredibly impressed. Basically, I washed with my regular soap, shaved, etc. and then turned the shower head away from me as to not hit the bar, and dried off my hands. It says to use it on wet skin, though, so I rubbed it all over my body, and at first it was pretty smooth and I could feel the shea and cocoa butters working their way into my skin, but once the thin top layer of it was off, I could feel all of the ground up ingredients exfoliating everything away. By the end of the shower, I was silky smooth and didn't even need a moisturizer!
If you aren't a fan of exfoliators, this may not be for you- it's a little bit abrasive once you get down to the gritty layer. You can be gentle, but I don't mind a little harsh exfoliation.
It really doesn't smell like much to me so I can't rate it based on how good it smells- I've heard people say it smells amazing but maybe it's just me.
My rating: 5/5!

2) Sympathy for the Skin lotion

A really, really hydrating but light and not-so-oily lotion for all over your body! I suffer from dry, flaky skin during the winter, and I mean, who doesn't? (If you're one of the few that don't, I envy you.) This has really made my dry, itchy legs feel much better after shaving and wearing jeans all day and dealing with the cold. It's also helped my sad chapped hands in the few times I've used it.
It contains fresh bananas, cocoa butter, almond oil, and vanilla pod infusion.
I've used this a few times over the course of the last couple of days, and I notice a difference in the texture of my skin right after I put it on. It sinks in really nicely, and smells really great (like vanilla ice cream, in my opinion) but not overpowering.
All in all, a really nice cream if you're just looking for a body lotion.
My rating: 5/5!

3) Oatfix Fresh Face Mask

My skin gets very temperamental during the cold months, getting kind of oily in my t-zone and dry all over my cheeks and chin and right between my eyebrows. (Annoying, right?)
Oatfix is fabulous for that! It's almost a little bit too moisturizing for me, but I love, love, love it. I just cleanse a little bit afterwards. It smells like banana bread with some brown sugar...I want to lick it off my face wearing it.
It contains: bananas, oatmeal, and ground almonds
My rating: 4/5, just because it's a little too hydrating for my skin. :)

And last but not least:
4) Pumpkin Soap!

This creamy, cinnamon, spearmint and pumpkin puree soap smells like a pumpkin pie in the shower, and is amazing when it comes to how it lathers. It's moisturizing and it smells amazing and there's really no downside to this soap...other than it's limited edition for Halloween. I know, I'm sad about it too. :(
I'd let you know what's in it, but I can't find it online! I think it's just an in-store thing, so I suggest you go get it ASAP!
My rating: 5/5...I love, love, love pumpkin everything so maybe I'll give this like a 10000/5.

If you'd like to see more of these let me know! Thanks for reading!
